About the event
Join us for a special Father’s Day event at the beautiful Pyramid Lake Recreation Area on June 15th, 2024, hosted by Black Men Hike. This day promises to be filled with fun activities, delicious food, and meaningful celebrations as we honor the importance of Black fatherhood. This event is for fathers and their children. We also welcome brothers who might not be biological fathers but have taken on this role for a child.

- Fishing: Bring your fishing gear and try your luck catching some of the lake’s abundant fish. It’s a perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the serene environment.
- Boating: Take advantage of the lake’s boating facilities. Whether you prefer paddle boats, kayaks, or motorboats, there’s something for everyone to enjoy on the water.
- Swimming: Cool off in designated swimming areas. Pyramid Lake’s clear waters provide a refreshing escape from the summer heat.
